Agroroof Social Manager – Privacy Policy

Agroroof Social Manager (“the App”), available at media.agroroof.com, is an internal tool operated by Peakzone (brand: Agroroof), Building No. 12/1, Vinayaga Nagar, RMS Colony, Edamalaipatti Pudur, Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu – 620012, India (“we”, “us”). The App lets our team prepare and publish our own videos to Agroroof’s own Instagram, Facebook and YouTube accounts. It is not offered to the public
1. Who uses the App
- Only authorised Agroroof team members can log in. The social media accounts connected to the App belong to Agroroof.
2. Information we collect
- Team account details: name, email address, role, and an encrypted password for logging in to the App.
- Connected account details: when an Agroroof Instagram, Facebook Page or YouTube channel is connected, we receive its account name, account ID and access tokens through the official login of Meta or Google. We never see or store social media passwords.
- Content: videos, captions, titles, descriptions, hashtags and schedules that our team prepares for publishing.
- Performance data: views, likes, comments, shares, reach, watch time and follower counts of our own published posts, received from the official Meta and YouTube APIs.
- Activity logs: which team member performed an action, when, and from which IP address, for security.
3. How we use it
- To publish our videos to our connected accounts at the time we choose.
- To show the publishing status, history and performance of our own posts.
- To keep the App secure and to know who did what.
We do not sell, rent or share this information with anyone for advertising or any other purpose. We do not use it to build profiles of people.
4. Google and YouTube data
The App uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a YouTube channel, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms), and Google’s handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).
The App’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy (https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy), including the Limited Use requirements. We use YouTube data only to upload our videos and show our own channel statistics inside the App.
You can remove the App’s access to a YouTube channel at any time from the App (Settings → Social Accounts → Disconnect) or from the Google security settings page: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions

5. Meta (Instagram and Facebook) data
The App uses the official Meta Graph API with Facebook Login. We receive only the permissions needed to publish to and read statistics of Agroroof’s own Pages and Instagram accounts. Access can be removed at any time from the App or from Facebook → Settings → Business Integrations.
6. Storage and security
- Data is stored on our hosting server in a database protected by passwords and HTTPS.
- Access tokens are encrypted before they are saved.
- Videos are kept on the server only until they are published, then deleted automatically. Unpublished videos are deleted after 7 days.
- Only authorised team members can access the App, based on their role.
7. How long we keep data
- Access tokens: until the account is disconnected, then deleted.
- Publishing history and statistics: as long as needed for our business records.
- Activity logs: up to 2 years.
- Team accounts: until the team member leaves, then removed.
8. Data deletion
To delete data held by the App, disconnect the account in the App, or email support@agroroof.com with the subject “Data deletion – Agroroof Social Manager” and the account name. We delete the related tokens and data within 30 days and confirm by email. Content already published on Instagram, Facebook or YouTube stays on those platforms and can be removed there.
9. Children
- The App is a business tool and is not meant for anyone under 18.
10. Changes
- If we change this policy, we will update the effective date on this page.
